It is the best country to do business in Africa. It is ranked 25th worldwide in this year’s World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business report.

Taxation, sugar, tourism and financial services form the basis of the economy.

The government has so far diversified its economy and made several policy reforms including the facilitation of cross-border trade and sewerage design.
