Angel Reese, the WNBA sensation, isn’t shy about her dating preferences. On the latest episode of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, Reese playfully laid out the specific traits she wants in her next romantic partner.

On her show Thursday, the 22-year-old women’s basketball star hosted rapper Latto and singer Mariah the Scientist who discussed Reese’s type of man.

Reese, a forward for the Chicago Sky, had publicly announced in March that she had split from her now ex-boyfriend, Florida State guard Cam’Ron Fletcher, and was currently single, as reported by the New York Post.

The 6-foot-3 basketball star stated that her next partner needs to be 6-foot-7 or 6-foot-8, ideally an NBA player. Singer Mariah the Scientist offered to use her connections to help Reese find potential matches.

“I don’t know too many of them. I’m going to make a call,” she told Reese. “I’m going to make a call and I’m going to have them make a call. And then I’m going to get you a little selection.”

Reese had been publicly dating Cam’Ron Fletcher since June 2023. However, their relationship ended sometime before the WNBA draft in April. Over the summer, rumors circulated that Reese was dating Pistons center Jalen Duren, who stands at 6-foot-10.

In early September, Reese discussed her ideal partner on her podcast, identifying her love language as “quality time.”

“That’s hard too because I kind of only, well, I only mess with athletes,” she said about the challenge of finding time to spend with another athlete she’d potentially date.

Reese’s WNBA rookie season ended abruptly due to a wrist injury sustained during a victory over the Sparks earlier this month.

The LSU alum averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in her inaugural professional season.
