Anwar Sadat
Muhammad Anwar el-Sadat was born on December 25, 1918. He was the one-time president of Egypt (1970-1981). In 1978, he shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Israel’s Prime Minister Begin after negotiating a peace treaty between the two countries.
