A white South Africa holidaymaker has gotten into trouble after posting a now-viral video of him using a racial slur on black people.

Adam Catzavelos, the marketing director of St George’s Fine Foods in Johannesburg‚ uses the k-word in referencing that there were no black people on the beach he was holidaying. Reports indicate that he was in Greece.

Soon after he posted the video, South Africans took no time to find out information about him and his background. Not only were they able to find his phone number but also found the businesses he is associated with, asking people to boycott them.

The revelations of his racist statement have already resulted in his firing from the family business. The family sent in a statement to South African media, distancing themselves from him.

A number of other businesses associated with Catzavelos’s business have also distanced themselves and even removed their products from the shelves.

South Africa has had many cases of racism. Earlier this year, a white woman was jailed for being racist against a black policeman.

The condemnation of Catzavelos’s actions has come from far and wide.
