Keiona Wilson was fatally shot inside a residence on Scalf Drive, according to Metro Nashville police. The 42-year-old Nashville woman was shot after forcibly entering her husband’s girlfriend’s house.
Wilson possibly made her way to the house in search of her husband, who was in a relationship with Keosha Greer, 42, police said. Wilson reportedly discovered her husband’s car behind the house of his girlfriend and used her key to drive it in front of the house.
Wilson then knocked on the front door, according to WSMV, and after a while, the other woman started talking to Wilson via the speaker of the home’s security system.
The two women began arguing over the speaker about whether Wilson’s husband was inside. When Wilson tried to enter the house, police said the other woman fired one shot into the storm door.

However, that bullet did not hit Wilson.
Soon after, Wilson gained entry, and the two started fighting. According to authorities, the other woman fired a second shot at Wilson, injuring her in the abdomen.
After leaving the house, Wilson drove her husband’s car a short distance before spotting an officer outside the Madison Precinct.
Wilson was transported to Skyline Medical Center, where she eventually died.
No charges have been brought as the investigation is ongoing.
“After consultation with the District Attorney’s Office, no charges were placed at this time. A determination of possible charges will be made after further investigation,” MNPD said.
In a similar case, De’Corlion Keshaun Robinson, 23, was recently arrested in Birmingham in relation to the death of Demetrice Darnell Beverly, 39, a Parker High School assistant football coach, husband, and father of three children. Robinson allegedly shot the coach after seeing him with his girlfriend.
He is still facing murder charges, however, he was released on a $150,000 bond. Defense attorney Emory Anthony claims that Robinson, the suspect, lived in the flat with his girlfriend of six years.
Robinson fired the fatal bullets after discovering the victim and his girlfriend when he got home from work, according to the attorney. Beverly was pronounced dead.
