Endangered species that would suffer if DR Congo opens its national parks to oil drilling

Congo Peacock

Known locally as the mbulu, the Congo peacock is a species of peafowl native to the Congo Basin.  The fowl has been classified as vulnerable due to its reducing numbers as a result of the ongoing habitat loss through mining, shifting cultivation and logging.
