Simone Biles has fiercely defended her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, against ongoing social media abuse. Owens has faced criticism after revealing in an interview that he didn’t know Biles was an Olympic legend before they started dating, jokingly calling himself the “catch.”

Biles, who recently won the Core Hydration Classic with Owens cheering her on, praised her husband on Sunday, stating, “I couldn’t ask for a better husband.”

She snapped at her critics, telling them to “f*** off” after her husband faced continued vitriol from her fans, as reported by Daily Mail.

“I’m going to quickly address this, the joke was never a joke! Y’all are blatantly being disrespectful to my relationship (and) my husband

“So I’m gonna go ahead & say this one time. Respectfully, f*** off,” Biles wrote on Instagram to her 7.1 million fans – many of whom are young.

“If you keep commenting or tweeting at me I’m just going to block you. Simple as that.. and no, I don’t need to touch grass or whatever tf (the f***) y’all suggest.”

Owens echoed his wife’s comments, sharing her Instagram story and adding: “If yall gone support, support!!!”

He added: “If not respectfully keep scrolling… Cause being fake mad about people yall don’t know from a can of paint is weirdo behavior.”

Owens was present in the stands as Biles intensified her training for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris this summer, where she aims to expand her impressive collection of seven medals.

The Gymnastics sensation kicked off her quest for additional Olympic success with a commanding performance at the US Classic on Saturday. She achieved an impressive all-around score of 59.500, surpassing runner-up Shilese Jones by nearly two points.

Biles, 27, boasting four Olympic gold medals, recorded the highest score on vault. She secured second place on uneven bars and balance beam in her debut for 2024.

“I was just happy to be back out there, get through those nerves again, feel that adrenaline,” Biles said.

“I can’t really complain how the first meet back was,” Biles added.
