Bisila Bokoko (pictured), a JD and MBA degree holder (Spain), is the founder and chairperson of “The Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project,” a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote literacy among Africans.

Bokoko has been the executive director of the Chamber of Commerce US-Spain in New York for almost seven years, which is dedicated to fostering trade, investment, and institutional relations between Spain and the United States. Prior to joining this organization, Bokoko had six years tenure with IVEX New York.
Bokoko helps companies successfully enter international markets in Europe, the United States, and Africa and is considered one of the 10 most-influential Spanish women in the business world of America for her ability to develop and cultivate relationships with foreign Heads of State, Ministers of Commerce/Economics, and international business leaders.
Consequently, she has been chosen as Ladybrille Magazine’s Woman of the Month for January 2015.
