A former Little Caesars employee, Jonathon Hacket, was arrested in North Carolina for allegedly breaking into the pizza chain restaurant in Kinston twice, including once to make and sell pizzas to customers, authorities said.
The incidents occurred in the town of Garner, near Raleigh, and have certainly grabbed a lot of attention. The suspect, who was apparently well-known to staff, is now facing multiple charges following the bizarre break-ins.
According to the Kinston Police Department, a 41-year-old man was taken into custody following an incident at the local establishment. The arrest was made after officers responded to a report of a break-in at a local outlet of the popular national pizza chain.

Police discovered that Hacket, a former employee of the pizza restaurant, had “unlawfully entered the business” on two separate occasions, leading to a more extensive investigation into his activities after his departure from the company.
Police reported that during the initial event, Hackett allegedly forced entry into the store. Furthermore, it is claimed that he proceeded to make and sell pizzas to customers and then kept the money generated from these illegal sales.
According to warrants obtained by WITN, Hackett produced and sold ten pizzas, which earned him a total of $50.
In the other instance, Little Caesars employees allegedly tried to prevent the former worker, whom they referred to as the “dough dealer,” from entering the store a second time, which unfortunately sparked a physical altercation.
After receiving medical treatment for his injuries at UNC Lenoir, he was then taken into custody and formally booked at the Lenoir County Jail in Kinston.
Hackett’s mugshot showed his eye completely swollen shut, probably a result of the struggle at the pizza restaurant.
Police stated that he faces numerous charges, which include breaking and entering, larceny after breaking, obtaining property by false pretenses, and violating the city’s curfew.
Kinston Police Chief Keith Goyette told the local outlet, “It was very strange, you know, it’s nothing I’d ever heard of.”
He added, “It’s nothing we’ve ever seen, you know, in my 26 years of law enforcement here in Kinston. So, this was a head scratcher and a first for us.“
