Khloe Kardashian has opened up on reuniting with her ex-husband Lamar Odom, revealing their meeting sparked memories she’s had to battle over the years.
Kardashian stated that she’s placed the “trauma” of her marriage with Odom behind her, but it seemed her ex-husband hadn’t and that was pretty evident during their recent reunion.
Khloe Kardashian and her ex-husband reunited on the season six premiere of “The Kardashians” on Wednesday, where they reportedly had conversations and reconnected for the first time in nine years.

The reunion saw the two recall the sweet moments they shared, but there was loads of tension between them, as Lamar particularly looked nervous most of the time during their sit-down.
Khloe on the other hand revealed she was far from rattled, even though Lamar unknowingly called her his “wife” at one point.
Khloe previously stated that she had processed their breakup “like a death”, indicating that the entire process of pain and getting over her ex took a long while.
“I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship for years and this was such the love of my life that to learn how to unlove someone — to have to go through all that — it’s almost like a death”, she said.
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom had some great moments in their seven-year marriage, yet she revealed that dealing with the bad times was beyond “horrific.”
Between the two, emotions ran around the room, and it looked as though they were processing their “uncomfortable memories and feelings” as the clock ticked.
Khloe and Lamar married in 2009 after getting to know each other for just about a month.
They later chose to document their love story in the E! series, “Khloé & Lamar”, yet the show did not continue after 2013 due to their break up, caused by Odom’s infidelity and drug issues.
In 2015 however, Khloe chose to halt their divorce proceedings when Lamar was hospitalized in a coma after overdosing in a Nevada brothel.
Since then, they never reconciled, but Khloe occasionally stepped in to make medical decisions on Lamar’s behalf.

A year on in 2016, their divorce was finalized and a lot hasn’t changed although Lamar recently revealed he was looking forward to meeting Khloe again and being handed an opportunity to be her friend.
