Mike Adenuga (Nigerian)

Mike is the second richest person in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of about $10 billion as of September 2015. He was born in 1953 in a low-income family. His father was a school teacher and his mother, a businesswoman. Mike had to work as a taxi driver to support his university education. He is now the owner of Globacom, the second-largest telecom firm in Nigeria and owns stakes in Equitorial Trust Bank and Conoil (previously Consolidated Oil Company).
